Summary

Native English Educator | 7+ Years Experience | Relocating to Tegucigalpa

With over 7 years of experience and 24,000+ sessions—both online and in reputable Comayagua classrooms—I have acquired the stamina and adaptability to excel as an ESL teacher. Currently based in Comayagua, I am moving to Tegucigalpa to establish roots closer to my wife’s family. I offer a unique advantage: the native proficiency of a US citizen combined with the cultural understanding of a local resident.

My classroom isn’t about memorizing grammar rules; it’s about getting worthwhile things done. I use Agile-based Project Based Learning to build a disciplined environment where students solve actual problems. My approach is backed by solid learning theory and my current work toward PMP certification. I teach students how to think, plan, and execute. We work through iterative cycles of defining the inquiry, planning, executing, revising, and validating results, helping students become independent learners. I’m not just passing through. My move to the capital is a long-term life decision. I am ready to start immediately.

I offer high value to your school. I believe strongly in structured innovation using Agile frameworks to drive Project Based Learning and Task-Based Learning methods, fostering critical thinking and real-world problem-solving, while keeping it results-oriented. These are things that students and parents will be happy to note. I keep a strict English-immersion environment for students, and with parents can communicate with full working fluency in Spanish, bridging cultural gaps that usually come as a challenge for other foreign staff I’ve worked alongside. I am ready to make a secure commitment driven by family and education. I’m here for a stable, long-term tenure and to make a difference in the lives of my students and community.
